The first two weeks of the YES program at Blandy Hills have been a huge success. The students are enjoying the enrichment that the teachers provide every day.  All the classes are filled with learning and enjoyment. The tutors, teachers, parents, and the personnel at Georgia College & State University  have been working hard to provide this amazing opportunity for the students at Blandy Hills Elementary.  We are excited to see the program grow and flourish to better serve the great group of children that are in the YES program.
    With 120 3rd—5th graders and 23 staff members, Mrs. Pam Longino, Education Coordinator for the YES Program at Blandy Hills Elementary, says that they are all excited and expecting great things to be happening with their students. 
    Students participate in enrichment classes such as art, drama, debate, PE, and technology.  The students have thoroughly enjoyed enrichment activities in the academic classes and in the enrichment classes. Students are especially thankful for having extra help with homework and time with friends in a less restrictive environment.
